2nd Steering Committee Meeting

The “Second Meeting of the Project Steering Committee”, where the progress of the Deep Project carried out by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change was discussed, was held on 7 September 2022 in Ankara with the participation of the representatives of the Ministry, the representative of the European Union Delegation to Turkey, the project technical assistance team, the consortium partners and the representatives of the relevant institutions and organizations.

Hosted by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, the meeting, which was held in a hybrid form via remote connection as well as physical participation, was moderated by the Deputy General Manager of Environmental Management, Mr. Recep Akdeniz. Information on the progress activities of the last 3 months of the project and the activities planned for the next period were evaluated.

While ongoing-planned activities, general work plan, and timetable were discussed at the meeting, participants showed great interest in the steering committee meeting. The meeting ended with an overall assessment of the progress of the project activities and the determination of the date for the next Steering Committee Meeting.
