6th Monthly Operation Coordination Unit (OCU) Meeting

The 6th Monthly OCU (Operation Coordination Unit) meeting of the DEEP Project was held on 28 September 2022 with the participation of the European Delegation to Türkiye, Contracting Authority, End Beneficiary, Consortium Representatives and OCU Members.

The meeting has been chaired by Ms. Sadiye Bilgiç Karabulut, Head of Circular Economy and Waste Management Department, and hosted by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change. The meeting was held in hybrid connection as well as physical participation. In the meeting, which has an agenda that will further the vision of the project, the activities carried out since the 5th OCU meeting were evaluated.

Furthermore, ongoing and planned activities within the scope of "Discovering the Potential in Turkey in the Context of the EU Circular Economy Package" were discussed. The content and the logistics of the Circular Economy Workshop to be held in Ankara on October 03-04-05-06, 2022 under the "Promotional Activities and Conference Management Component" and the main points of the Updated DEEP Project Communication Strategy were assessed, and the short film produced for the Circular Economy Workshops was reviewed.
